Her middle name is Mirembe- a testament to the aura around her. She is peaceful- she seeks peace. In fact, mom tells us that when she was a baby, she barely cried. Sometimes, mom would wake up in a panic to and check the crib fearing Laura dead because she was too silent.
Her- Him is fondly reffered to as FX :-)
She is the liberal. Open-minded. Emancipated. Shunning all straight jacket ideas.
Her hair is natural- which speaks to her originality, her comfort in her own skin.
She has the most perfectly rounded bum in the house :-) (Am so, going to be killed for this!)
Her poison is spelt g.i.n.
She is a straight talker- none of that 'beating about the bush' drama for her, please.
Her dainty, feminine feet and hands draw out the green-eyed monster in me :-(
She is a do-it-yourself gal. Independent. Stubborn, even.
Her determination and 'I put-my-foot-down' attitude to life is admirable.
She is a cleanliness freak. Sparkle. Dust free. Thank you very much :-)
She takes time to warm up to people/ make friends- but once she has you in her 'friends folder' you can count on her blind loyalty.
She is a phone junkie. Texts. Calls...for hours on end, comfortably.
She gobbles books :-)
She unconsciously taught me to journal (read; "spew innermost thoughts,'as-is' on paper"), hell, to write honestly- with her consistent verbal good reviews of books whose authors came across as honest & open.
She got ALL the Maths genes in the Turyatemba house. Wake her at any time of the night and ask her, 'Laura, what is the square root of 600 times 31 minus 21 plus 76?' and I swear she will know :-)
She wore spectacles for a brief time and 'threw them away' after her defect was corrected.
She is the one woman who truly knows & understands me in the whole wide world. She has always been instrumental in the relaization of my thoughts and aspirations.
