I have been experiencing all kinds of special since the year
2013 began. I should not be surprised because God did say that He will fulfill promises He had made to me in the
past. Promises I had even forgotten about or thought He had deliberately
refused to answer. He said it would be my year of as if postponed jubilee.
I realize, now, that I have erred in not recording these 'specialnesses' :)...So, from here on now, I will post on here, as often as I can, my All Kinds of Special (AKS).
Jesus said, ‘My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow
me.’ (John 10:27)
The most recent special I
experienced was two mornings ago. My colleagues and I were en route to Buliisa
from Hoima. We are on a work trip. The road is quite horrid but we were going
at about 80kph. My eyes were closed but I was not asleep. I was praying
silently…in tongues. A part of me was wondering why the unusual unction to pray
that way at that time but another part of me was simply enjoying the under –a-
cold- shower -after –a- hot- day feeling that I always have when I pray in
tongues.
Anyway, all of a
sudden, the driver hit the brakes and my eyes snapped open. We had stopped five
seconds shy of a falling mango tree. Some villagers had felled the thing. There
were no sign posts on the road, no person stopping moving vehicles or
motorcycles or pedestrians…nothing! We escaped death.
Earlier in the morning, as I committed the day to the Lord,
I was led to pray specifically for our team, each member individually and the
work we are doing. I pleaded the blood of Jesus over us. Again, the intensity and
specificity of the prayer had me wondering.
God is good. I am so grateful that He has, after a good
number of years, chosen to re-open my ears to His voice.
Now, to Him who sits on the throne and unto the Lamb, be
Blessing & Honour & Power & Glory forever.
I am sooooo blessed Lynn!! This is great. Glory to God for he protects and guards you/us!! Indeed, unto him who sits on the throne be the blessing and honor and power and the glory. Amen!
